102 degrees and a couple of gallons of water got us off to a good start.
After about half a mile the people disappeared and the scenery and silence kicked in, it was absolutely stunning. Majestic and huge.
LANDSCAPE ARCH
Not so many Arches as we went the non Arches way first and by the time we got to the Arches, after 10 miles we were too knackered to look at them, this is one of the few.
We took on the park and the park came 2nd only that we conquered the hike but the scenery conquered us - it was fab.
we took the wrong turning and went up towards the dark angel rock another mile out of our way and ffi and I were at rock bottom ('scuse the pun) but we rallied round and made it back.

The last fin rock was beautiful - the view was the whole of the park from a ridge no more than 10 feet wide and 50 foot drop on both sides! magnifiscent
